What is a spicule facial?
A Dr. Esthè spicule facial is a non-needle skin treatment designed to support the skin's natural renewal process.
Tiny, naturally derived spicules are gently massaged over the skin's surface to help improve the visible appearance of pigmentation, dullness, uneven texture and early fine lines across your treatment course.
The sensation is usually described as warm, tingly or slightly prickly rather than painful.
You may experience some mild redness afterwards, but most clients can continue with their usual day.

Your skin is assessed and the treatment is adjusted to suit its condition on the day.
Cleanse and prepare
Your treatment begins with a thorough cleanse to remove makeup, sunscreen and surface build-up.
This prepares your skin for the spicule treatment while giving you time to settle in and switch off.
Your spicule treatment
The Dr. Esthè treatment is carefully massaged over your skin using pressure suited to your comfort.
Most clients describe the sensation as warm, tingly or lightly prickly — active enough to feel that the treatment is working, without needles or numbing cream.
Relax under professional LED
Once the facial is complete, you can lie back under the professional LED light selected to complement your treatment.
Before you leave, your therapist will explain how your skin may feel and how to care for it at home.
Some mild redness, warmth or sensitivity may occur for several hours, but most clients continue with the rest of their day as usual.
